Mauricio Osaki (尾崎) is Brazilian-Japanese( Sansei 三世) filmmaker.
He completed his MFA in Filmmaking at NYU Tisch. While at Tisch, Mauricio directed the award-winning film "My Father's Truck" which premiered in the 63rd Berlinale, was screened in more than 100 international film festivals and was short-listed for an Oscar.
His scripts have been selected for Berlinale Talents, Biennale College Venice, Le Groupe Ouest, Talents Tokyo, and Autumn Meetings among others.

He currently lives in Saigon, Vietnam, while working in the post-production of his first feature based on his short film of the same title.
Mauricio is a freelance commercial director for brands such as Google, Uber, Mitsubishi, Unilever, Yahoo, Trivago, and VW, among others working with agencies such as BBDO, Havas, and MullenLowe.
He also teaches screenwriting at HoaSen University among other institutions.
